The Lab is designed to make a coherent research program visible without overstating institutional status, project relationships or the maturity of evidence.
Public position
The platform provides a stable public home for connected research, people, projects and impact. Its purpose is scholarly communication, collaboration and research translation.
Clear boundaries protect contributors, institutions and the integrity of the work while allowing the research program to be understood internationally.
School Conditions Lab is an independently maintained, scholar-led research communication platform founded and led by Associate Professor Brendon Hyndman. It is not a Charles Sturt University organisational unit, centre, service, official website or approved University sub-brand.
Charles Sturt University is named to state Brendon's current professional affiliation accurately. Other contributors retain their own affiliations. University names are credentials, not a claim that the platform speaks for or binds an institution.
Formal studies operate through the ethics approvals, agreements, funding arrangements and institutional processes identified in their project materials. Their appearance on this platform does not transfer or alter funding, ethics, contractual, data, intellectual property or institutional arrangements. This website communicates the program but does not replace approved participant information, consent or study contacts.
People are named with permission and by their contribution to defined work. A project role does not imply employment by, appointment to or formal membership of the Lab, and it creates no additional obligation.
Formal partners, project collaborators and wider field connections are different relationships. Each is described accurately. Logos, photographs and biographies are used only with the relevant permission.
Published findings, current research, emerging programs and work in development are labelled separately. Instruments and services are not described as validated unless the evidence supports that claim.
Sources are linked wherever practicable. Original, licensed and permission-based material is used according to its terms. Views belong to the named author unless an institution or project has explicitly adopted them.
The site is maintained as a selective public account of the research program. Project teams may request corrections to their own role, biography, affiliation or image through the contact page.

Material changes to affiliation, governance, project status or contributor roles will be reflected here and on the relevant page.
